My name is Nathalie Brigitte Bustos and I work in the film and television industry. Working in Montreal’s entertainment industry since 1997, I've been assistant to producers, director of development, director of acquisitions and distribution, and director of programming for Canada’s largest independent media group. Today I’m a film, documentary, and television producer. Everybody in the industry calls me NBB.

Whether it was handling the programming of an entire television group or working as a film producer, I always put my heart and soul into what I'm doing. Every film and show I work on are a part of me. I put a lot of care and attention into them so that they reflect my personality and honor who I am and the people I love. For me it's a privilege to earn a living, thanks to my creativity
 

More than 10 years ago, I discovered the art of ceramics as a hobby and, dedicating myself to it more seriously in recent years, it became a real passion. In order to learn to master my art more while discovering all the facets it entails, I've applied to the Bonsecours Ceramic Center. I will be completing the technical training in May 2021, as I only have one session left. I am taking a year to complete the basic classes required for my college studies and to reflect on my upcoming collection. I gave myself the time to reflect on what it means to become a true artist.

Everything I do comes from the love I have for mine. To respect what they mean to me, to the importance they have in my life. Thus, in ceramics, they're all part of the details I engrave on some pieces and in the patterns that I affix on others. 

As I said before, I feel blessed to be able to express myself through the arts. In fact, thanks to cinema, I have the chance to send unifying messages through the films I produce and, thanks to television, I am honored to be able to enter people’s living rooms to entertain and move them through the programs I am responsible for.
 

Today, I hope, in all humility, that ceramics will become for me a new way of expressing my inspirations and reflections, while creating a signature that will be unique and allow me to honor the people I love.
